Yikes!

I had to steal this one from Nona… A couple of UK lesbians are chomping at the bit because scientists “…have devised a way to create ‘artificial sperm’ from any cell in a woman’s body which can be used to fertilise another woman’s egg.” I’m not sure how I feel about this except that my gut tells me that mixing the genetics of the two in the picture might not be the best thing. They want to volunteer for medical trials. Is there a UK equivalent for the Jerry Springer show? Later in the article there is a photo of a baby who was brought into this world specifically to save the life of his sister. This really bugs me every time I hear about it… I’d hate to grow up as one of those kids and later learn the truth. Not to mention the pain the kid suffers along the way from endless medical procedures.
